Origin of the Oriado 60% dark chocolate bar
To enrich the aromatic palette of exceptional blends, Valrhona has developed this tasting dark chocolate that stands out for its vanilla sweetness and balance. The cocoa beans used to create this Oriado dark chocolate come from the Dominican Republic (the world's leading producer and exporter of organic cocoa) and Peru (the second largest producer known for its long cocoa tradition). For around ten years, Valrhona has been cultivating terroir and sustainable relationships with producers in both countries, with the ambition of creating exceptional cocoa, now Fairtrade/Max Havelaar certified and from organic farming.
