History of the Komuntu 80% dark chocolate bar

Created in 2022, Komuntu is the result of a committed collective and the very expression of responsible chocolate. It is on the occasion of its 100th anniversary that Valrhona decided to launch a new chocolate made in close collaboration with all stakeholders: customers, cocoa partners, suppliers and employees, all actively participated in its development. From its name, to the uniqueness of its taste or its packaging, everyone was able to write the story of this new chocolate. Komuntu is the alliance of "Komunumo" which means community in Esperanto and "Ubuntu" African concept word "I am because we are", its name thus symbolizes the bond which unites the collective at the origin of its creation.
