Can I use honey instead of maple syrup in these bars?
Yes, though the bars will lose their authentic Canadian flavor.

It adds both sweetness and a deeper maple taste.
Can I swap pecans for another nut?
Walnuts or hazelnuts work well as alternatives.
Why use Jivara chocolate in cereal bars?
Jivara offers creamy, malty notes that balance the nutty crunch.
